Why did you choose to pursue a career as a photographer?
Main reason I decided to pursue this career was because it gives me the opportunity to network with so many people. Making long lasting connections & relationships with brands are what I strive for.

Whose work has influenced you most?
There’s so many people out there that have influenced me to get to where I am today. Brian aka @1st on IG is an individual anyone should check out. Locally it’s gotta be my brother Jerome aka @215shooter & my homie Nate aka @nike21nate on IG. They’ve been here for me since the beginning of this journey & we’ve all grown immensely together.

What makes the good picture stand out from the average?
FOR ME, because there is NO RIGHT ANSWER to this, is composition & storytelling. We now live in a world where everything’s oversaturated. So many individuals claiming they’re photographers but don’t have “the eye” for the field. Show me you’re not just another person with a camera.

How would you describe your photography style?
All about the vibesssssss

What is your favorite subject to photograph?
It’ll always be footwear. But lately minimalism combined with streetwear is what’s been grabbing my attention.

Did Sneakers lead you to photography or Vice versa?
Sneakers definitely lead into photography. Growing up surrounded by OG’s who handed down their kicks to me started the passion. Wasn’t until college that I picked up a camera & realized a whole new world.

Among your images, which one is your favorite? Why?
Oh this is tough! Recently went on a trip to NYC with the homies. Ended up on the Manhattan bridge for sunset and I managed to capture what seemed to me like the sky was on fire. The clouds were huge & rolling in slow taking over the city. Another reason is because my homie Nate finally felt confident enough with his photography during this trip. Was a true staple in his photographic journey.

What kind of gear do you use?
Right now I’ve got my Sony a7iii paired with a 24-70 G-Master lens. I’ve also got a DJI Mavic Pro when I need more altitude 🚁.

Which is your favorite lens? Why?
It’s gotta be the 70-200 G-Master. It gives you such a great range with the option to obliterate the background from your subject. If you’ve got the funds, cop up or rent. You’ll fall in love.

What do you like most about being a photographer?

What do you like least about being a photographer?
Not being able to be on the other side of the lens as much! That’s why you surround yourself with other photographers who constantly need models.
